Welcome to Phoenix Reading Hockey Club for Season 2024/25

For season 2024/25, all members (including juniors) MUST be registered on Pitchero before paying their annual subscription. Parents firstly register themselves as Parents on the system so that they receive notifications. Parents then register their children individually as Club Members in order for us to manage our membership database accurately.

If you’re a parent, please ensure your child’s name, and date of birth is entered onto the form correctly. Please don’t set up the child’s account with your date of birth or email address. Create your parent account and then add your child as a Club Member.

If you were a member of the club last year, please update your details and ensure everything is accurate.

We’re not using Pitchero to allow payment of subs as there is a charge (to you and us!) for using this service. The Club will take payment by bank transfer and the details are at the bottom of the page. Please ensure you read these properly.

ANNUAL SUBS AND MATCH FEES
Our fees are the most competitive in the area. We can offer a payment plan to anyone that needs to spread the costs over a couple of pay days. The details of the fees are shown on the other pages in this section and in the attached document.

The deadline for payment for returning members is 5 October 2024.

USE OF PITCHERO
We will use Pitchero to keep you updated on fixtures, selection for matches, training updates, social events, and club news. It will be your one stop, go to place for all things Phoenix. You can manage your membership and contact details using a system which is fully protected and GDPR compliant. It will save you time, save the club time, and mean our records are always up to date - you are in control of the information we hold about you!

WHERE DO YOU NEED TO GO?
It is essential that every member of Phoenix Reading Hockey Club, whether you are a junior member, adult player, occasional player, or social member completes a Membership Form, which you can start by registering online at https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/phoenixranelagh/signup

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARENTS REGISTERING JUNIOR MEMBERS
Please create your Parent account first. This will have all your required information on it.
You then create your child’s Club Member account with their personal details and emergency contact info.

Payment methods
For season 2024/25 all members can pay by cash, cheque or bank transfer. The bank details are within the membership form when you apply for which membership category you want to sign up to.

Confirm your payment to your section contact
If you are paying by bank transfer please send an email to the Club Treasurer Cat McCarron (see contacts page) to let us know when you paid and which members it is in respect of. If you are paying for multiple children please confirm all their names and ensure that you've created a membership record for each of them on Pitchero.

REGISTERING WITH GMS
Once you have decided to play for Phoenix Reading HC, you MUST register with the Game Management System (GMS) to play league matches. Please go to the GMS page to do this.

ORDERING CLUB KIT
You will need to order your own club kit direct with O'Neills our kit supplier. Go here to order but do not place a shirt order until you have a squad number given to you by Jax.

Once you have registered as a member and a player then you need to order your kit directly with our kit supplier - O'Neills.

Playing kit is MANDATORY to play in league matches and you will need to order a club shirt and shorts or skort direct from O'Neills.

You MUST get a squad number allocated to you before you order your shirt. You cannot select your own number as we may already have these numbers in use and we cannot have duplicates. If you need a shirt and do not have a number please contact Jax to get a squad number (battiejax@hotmail.co.uk).

Club socks can be bough from the club - all captains have access to some stock in the club lockbox and they can take payment on the Square reader. Socks are £9 per pair.
