As part of England Hockey's #sticktogether programme, they’ve launched today a series of Free and Paid for sessions online for umpires and aspiring umpires to learn umpiring ahead of when we are able to re-start 11-a-side hockey in England.

The cost of the Level 1 Umpiring course has dropped from £55 to £30 due to the online delivery. In short – as there is no pitch time and we are not issuing cards / whistles, etc – we can pass that saving on to learners. All will still complete the course as a Level 1 Unassessed umpire.

There are lots of other courses on the EH website at the moment to help enhance your coaching or umpiring skills. Have a look around. P&R really wants to expand the pool of umpires so new volunteers are very welcome :-)
